signs you're stuck

Let’s be honest — feeling stuck sucks. And if you’re reading this, chances are you know exactly what I mean.

Maybe you wake up every morning with that nagging feeling that something is off. You’re going through the motions, checking the boxes, doing all the “right” things — but something is missing. You just can’t put your finger on what it is.

First of all, you’re not alone. This is one of the most common things I hear from my clients. And the good news? Feeling stuck doesn’t have to be forever. The fact that you’re here, reading this, tells me you’re already ready for something more.

Here are 5 signs you might be feeling stuck — and what you can do about it.

1. You feel like you’re just going through the motions

Get up, go to work, come home, go to bed, wash, rinse, repeat. Sound familiar? When life starts to feel like a never-ending loop with no real purpose or excitement, that’s a sign something needs to change. You deserve more than just existing — you deserve to actually live a life that you love.

2. You keep saying “someday”

Someday I’ll start that business. That trip you’ve been dreaming about? Still waiting. And that change you keep putting off? Still not made. If “someday” has become your favorite word, it’s time to ask yourself — what are you waiting for? Someday has a funny way of never arriving unless you decide to make it today.

3. You feel unfulfilled even when things look good on paper

Additionally this one is tough because from the outside everything looks fine. Good job, nice house, great family. But inside you’re quietly asking “is this all there is?” That disconnect between how your life looks and how it feels is a powerful signal that something needs to shift.

4. You’ve lost your sense of direction

Remember, you used to have goals, dreams, things you were excited about. Now you’re not sure what you want anymore. That loss of direction can feel scary and disorienting — but it’s also an invitation to rediscover who you are and what truly matters to you.

5. You keep waiting for the “right time” to make a change

The truth is, there is no perfect time. There will always be a reason to wait. The kids, the finances, the job, the relationship. But here’s what I’ve learned from working with my clients: the right time is now. Waiting only makes the stuck feeling worse.

So what do you do about it?

First give yourself some grace. Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.

Next get honest with yourself. What do you really want? Not what your family wants for you, not what society says you should want — what do YOU want?

Finally get some support. You don’t have to figure this out alone. Whether it’s a trusted friend, a therapist, or a life coach, having someone in your corner makes all the difference.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to connect. Book a free discovery call and let’s talk about what’s possible for your life. Because I promise you — you are not stuck forever. You just need a little help finding your way forward.

Your next chapter is waiting — let’s write it together.
